Conversation Series – Carlen Charleston

During this conversation, I will talk about race with Carlen Charleston, founder of the E.R.A.S.E. Race Movement.

From the small town in Texas where I grew up, to the years I spent as a Marine working in and out of the Pentagon and around the world, from elementary school to the college degree and two Master’s degrees I’ve earned, I now know that we are in fact all a part of one race.

This new reality is gaining traction in a country that has spent the last 300 years arguing with itself; trying to reconcile its founding principles with its actions of slavery, then Jim Crow segregation and now simple separation.

A few years ago, I personally determined that this would be the cause for which I would dedicate my life and that is why I founded the nonprofit organization, ERASE Races – The American Unity Movement. I believe that we will bring about Unity, through Service and Love for all mankind.
