Conversation Series (10) – Nick Cotter – Analyst for Allegheny County Dept. of Human Services

Nick does research at the intersection of affordable housing policy and place. He’s also a free-lance writer and the creator of the Pittsburgh Neighborhood Project, a street by street exploration of Pittsburgh 90’s neighborhoods that includes data analysis, resident interviews and neighborhood profiles. The goal of the project is to educate Pittsburghers on the causes and consequences of persistent economic and racial segregation, and highlight the beauty that exists within our most challenged neighborhoods to spur meaningful conversation and policy changes.
