During this conversation, I will be speaking with Jason Klein, a man who submitted an application to come on the show after finding a lack of substance in the panel discussion I appeared in for the Braver Angels branch off podcast The John Wood Jr. Show. We will be discussing what Jason called “neoracism” discussed by commentators such as Glenn Loury, John McWhorter, and Shelby Fields, Afro optimism, the impact spending time with people from varied backgrounds has had on his race perspectives, his belief in equality, his opinions on black agency and white agency, and racism against white people.
