Conversation Series – Brian Grimm

During this conversation, I will be speaking with Brian Grimm, a race-centered documentary film producer. We will talk about his education focused documentary, American Dilemma: Education or Incarceration. We will also discuss some of Brian’s observations, like how White people speak differently to Black people than other White people, or White people’s general discomfort talking about race. We’ll talk about how insignificant melanin is in reality, but how it can lead to drastically disparate outcomes regardless. We will also engage in a live brainstorm regarding the top 6 actions people can take to work towards racial justice.
