He is a comedian who in 2016 with the rise of Trumpism recognized his white adjacency and made a conscious effort to learn more about his indigenous Mexican heritage. We will talk about his evolution of race consciousness and how he now perceives the legacy of white supremacy as still regularly active within the minds and hearts of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans.
