Drew is the Director of TeachThoughtPD, an organization providing professional development sessions for instructors. He is also the host of the TeachThought Podcast. I reached out to Drew about discussing education and race, and he agreed to come on the podcast to discuss race/racism with me. We will discuss his evolution of race consciousness (as always), how to make progress on the race conversation, the role liberalism might play, and from my end hopefully revealing a side of the conversation that’s novel for our guest.
