Conversation Series (6) – Dr. Craig Ottinger – Retired Professor

Craig will discuss his perspective on his own personal white privilege, and how he got into the Civil Rights Movement at age 16. We will converse about how and why the University he worked at decided to recruit more minority students and the issues that arose related to that effort. He will discuss being caught in a riot while fighting for migrant worker health, and how an early morning beer with my grandfather has led to our present conversation generations later.
