Greetings, everyone! I’m thrilled to introduce the next guest on The Contraband Wagon who will be joining me for a 2-hour conversation on race, Siam Khafra (our hundred-and-thirty-fourth Conversation Series event).

I met Siam via a recent Open Discussion Event I organized through my Meetup group. This racialized black man is a D.C. native with extensive experience in government and business. He has significant international travel experience that has given him unique insights into racism. He shared some of his story with us during the Discussion Group, and I invited him for a more thorough discussion. We will discuss his evolution of race consciousness, his perception that racism is trending in the wrong direction, and what he plans to do about it as a Black man with a liberatory spirit.
